Sacred Hearts Parish, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, was founded in 1908 to serve the spiritual needs of the Bradford-Ward Hill residents of the Merrimack Valley. Presently many of the 3,000 families of the Parish live within the immediate neighborhood and boundaries. Others choose this as their parish primarily because of its particular style of worship, the warmth of its welcome and its parochial school. Our suburban parish is comprised of people of all ages, ethnic origins and economic backgrounds.
As a parish, we are a faith community bonded by our belief in Jesus Christ. Our beliefs are expressed and strengthened by a strong commitment to prayer, evangelization and Catholic education. We encourage one another to carry out the various ministries of the Lord in reaching out to those in need. As a Eucharistic people we try to live Christ by following His example of commitment to justice, peace and the enhancement of life for every person.
Since its founding, the people of Sacred Hearts have come together to make a vibrant and faith-filled parish. With God’s help, we will continue to serve Him and the community with love and devotion.
