Sacred Hearts Parish exists to serve as a living testimony to Christ's presence within it's faith community which is strengthened and nourished by a firm commitment to the Gospel values through prayer, worship, faith formation and service.

 

Sacred Hearts Supportive Services Bereavement Support

An educational and supportive program for "senior" widowed men and women meets every Wednesday at 9:30AM at Haverhill Crossings which is located on Amesbury Road, route 110 in Haverhill.

This program is sponsored by the Farmer & Sons / Bethany Bereavement and Resource Center.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic lay organization in the world and has been called "the strong arm of the Church." Membership in the Knights is open to practicing Catholic men 18 years old and over. Catholic Daughters of the Americas

From its inception in 1903, Catholic Daughters of the Americas has grown and developed into the largest organization of Catholic women in the Americas. Under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, its members are united by their faith in Jesus Christ, in their devotion to the church and the Holy See. St. Vincent de Paul

Inspired by gospel values, the society of Saint Vincent DePaul, a Catholic lay organization leads men and women to join together to grow spiritually by offering person to person service to the needy and suffering in the tradition of our founder Frederick Ozanam and its patron saint, Saint Vincent DePaul.

In strictest confidence our members minister to those in economic need, helping them Achieve their goals through financial generosity and spiritual guidance.

Our conference holds regular meetings the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. during these meetings there is prayer and spiritual readings along with discussions.

Calls for assistance are received at the pastoral center and then forwarded to two people assigned for the visit. Each call is held in confidence and answered as soon as possible usually within a few hours. Besides these visitations the conference does an adopt A family program at Thanksgiving , Christmas and Easter We also run a food pantry that feeds over one thousand families a month.

 

Mother's Prayer Group

The mom's prayer group meets at 9:00 every Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's church hall, located downstairs in the church building. We welcome all moms, with or without their children. The group prays and has spiritual discussions based on the previous day's readings. It's a great start to our week, please join us. For further details contact Christina Clifford
